Any subject, long or short. Write from your own experience and judgement, and cite your sources.
How to submit
- Send your draft straight to lod. A shared document, Markdown or plain text are all fine.
- Or sign in with Google at the writing desk to write and submit (sign-in is not open yet).
- Include a title, your byline and a one-line summary. For a first piece, add a short author bio.
After you submit
- An editor reads it and talks through changes with you. How much help you get is up to you.
- You confirm the text, the byline and what is public.
- lod publishes it. You get a link to the piece and your own author page.
Nothing is public until you confirm. You can still add to or correct a piece after it is published.
Helping edit
Tell lod which subjects interest you and roughly how much time you have. You can start with one draft for one author — no long-term commitment. Anything that changes the meaning is talked through with the author first.
